Hood Warfare 2 player-count analysis: peaks, averages and valid percentage changes
Define the audience and baseline before reaching for a calculator.

Hood Warfare 2 player statistics become useful when the arithmetic matches the question. A current count, rolling average and all-time peak summarize different observations. Before calculating a percentage, identify which measurement you are comparing and whether the baseline represents an equivalent period.
Hood Warfare 2 player-count snapshot
Checked 21 October 2026. ActivePlayer’s Hood Warfare 2 player-count dashboard displayed these Steam statistics:
| Measurement | Recorded figure |
|---|---|
| Concurrent Steam players | 3,118 |
| Displayed 24-hour peak | 3,729 |
| Average concurrent players, “Last 30 Days” | 4,130.3 |
| All-time recorded Steam peak | 15,258 |
The concurrent reading was timestamped 03:18 UTC; historical data was updated at 03:22 UTC. These are saved observations, not an embedded live counter. “Last 30 Days” is the dashboard’s rolling-window label; it does not establish 30 full days of available history. October is incomplete. Figures can change after publication.
Concurrent activity is not a unique-user count
A person can appear in several simultaneous-count readings during a day. Adding those readings does not recover the number of distinct daily players. Multiplying one reading by the hours in a day also fails to identify unique accounts.
The longer-window average summarizes concurrent activity; it is not a monthly active-user total. Its last-30-days label should remain attached to the limited available history, especially while the game’s early reporting period is still developing.
Keep a historical gap separate from retention
Subtracting a current reading from an all-time peak compares different moments. It does not identify which accounts returned or stopped playing. Retention requires a defined cohort and follow-up observations, rather than two aggregate counts.
Use the Hood Warfare 2 Steam listing for product context. Keep reviews, game ownership and active participation in separate fields. They measure different populations or actions and should not be combined into a single audience total.
Write the calculation with its conditions
For comparable values, percentage change equals the later value minus the earlier value, divided by the earlier value, times 100. A valid baseline must be nonzero. Include the absolute difference and reporting windows alongside the result.
The ActivePlayer game-statistics directory helps locate further comparisons. Match the platform scope and metric first. A missing earlier reporting period should remain unavailable; treating it as zero produces an invalid change calculation and an exaggerated story.
